Heavy Duty Product Information: Body with Floor and Front End: – Reproduction ’41 Willys Coupe comes with floor, non-removable front end and rear fenders (does not come with hood, doors, or trunk lid). – Body is manufactured from extremely complex molds; produces a rigid one piece unit. – White gelcoat exterior and interior finish; easy to sand and prepare for paint. – Average body weight is only about 450 lbs. – Includes very solid floor, trunk pans, and firewall for easy mounting onto custom frame. – Measurements: 55 1/8″ from rocker panel to rocker panel; 65 3/4″ from rear wheel well opening to rear wheel well opening; 67 3/16″ from front wheel well opening to front wheel well opening; 57 1/4″ from the bottom of rocker panel to the inside top of roof panel; 163 3/4″ from front valance pan to rear tail pan. – Installation requires custom body mounts and bushings; also requires drilling of holes for steering column, brake booster, and firewall mount. – Smooth 90° roll into wheel well openings, generally extends in a full 3/4″. – Wheel wells may be attached to the front end provided that they do not interfere with engine and firewall components. – The three groove body side molding is crisp and clean; all windows are flat and can easily be installed with standard 1930’s style window glass rubber. – Headlight blanks require opening to install light bowl and trim. Doors (right and left pair): – White gelcoat exterior finish; easy to sand and prepare for paint. – Accepts original hinge (without spring), latch, and regulator hardware. – Double wall posts support upper window track. – Windows come blanked in and must be opened during installation. – Coremat® reinforced skin. – Power window kits can be used to install one piece glass. – Original felts can be epoxied in the door post and side track. – Door is supplied bare with no glass, mechanism, tracks or hardware. – Does not come with a door hinge kit – If plastic windows are desired for light weight Hood: – 90°edges on both sides help to maintain fender contours. – Full perimeter inner frame; utilizes OEM hinge and latch; low tension hood springs required for hinges ; additional hold downs recommended – Fiberglass texture inner; coated with black lacquer finish. – White gelcoat exterior finish; easy to sand and prepare for paint. – Coremat® reinforced skin. Trunk Lid: – 90°edges on both sides help to maintain fender contours. – Fully lined composite TECHHOOD™ design; utilizes OEM hinges and latch; lowering of spring tension may be needed to prevent damaging trunk lid. – White smooth gelcoat exterior and interior finish; easy to sand and prepare for paint. – Coremat® reinforced skin.
